Accommodations are chosen according to size of the pet, availability, and of course the dog’s preference. Contrary to popular belief, bigger is not always better. A small toy poodle may feel quite overwhelmed all alone in a large run. And a medium size dog may actually prefer a somewhat smaller room with a better view in the middle of the action. We take great care to try and ‘read’ your dog’s individual needs and then try to accommodate them as best we can. No matter what size
the dog, walks and exercise are given twice daily. Kennels and runs are
cleaned at least once daily. Fresh water is provided at all times.
Meals are provided on a schedule according to your pet’s nutritional
needs. Every effort is made to maintain the same routine your pet is
used to at home. We do not offer treats or chews unless we have been asked to do so by the owner. Owners are welcome to bring bedding and toys from home. But please be aware that in the unfamiliar surroundings of the kennel, a dog’s normal good manners may slip a bit. Sometimes, even beloved pillows have been destroyed by a confused pet.
